Children explore the beauty and structure of real snowflakes through close-up images and guided pattern activities. After experimenting with folds, shapes, and symmetry, they design their own oversized snowflake using geometric patterns. Each child’s snowflake becomes part of our Winter Gallery installation. Learning Focus: Early math through symmetry and shapes, visual pattern recognition, fine motor development, creative confidence, and understanding natural structures.

Children study winter villages and experiment with translucent materials and small LED lights before building their own glowing mini-house. Learning Focus: Light and transparency, early circuitry exploration, spatial design, art + engineering integration, and storytelling.

Kids explore the look and feel of snow and predict what will happen when colorful vinegar mixtures touch baking-soda snow mounds. They test their ideas and observe dramatic fizzing effects. Learning Focus: Early chemistry (reactions), sensory science, cause-and-effect thinking, prediction skills, and descriptive language development.

Children explore pretend bakery tools, create winter-themed cookies from foam and felt, then design a bakery menu and participate in pretend-purchase play. Learning Focus: Symbolic play, early literacy (menu creation), early math (exchanging pretend money), creativity,  social communication and early entreprenuership.
