Tiny Town was designed to engage how children think, learn, and make meaning of the world around them.
Here, play is not static. It evolves.
Our environments are intentionally designed to grow with your child because imagination doesn’t end at age six and neither should meaningful play.
Here, kids don’t just stay busy…
they think, build, create, and make sense of the world.
Whether they’re:
Designing in the Art & Maker Studio
Investigating in the STEM Lab
Building and experimenting with real materials
Engaging in sensory and loose-part exploration
Or role-playing in one of our five dramatic play environments…
Every experience is open-ended, developmentally purposeful, and joyfully engaging.
Tiny Town is more than fun, it’s a place where imagination meets real-world learning, where friendships grow, and where children become curious, capable, and confident learners.
For families, it’s a safe and inspiring community space that sparks growth and nurtures a love of learning at every age.
At Tiny Town, children are developing real skills while having fun, which means parents get the best of both worlds:
Tiny Town offers evolving play. We offer flexible themed dramatic play spaces so children can create their own stories. Loosely themed spaces allow children to transform a room without us telling them what it’s supposed to be.
Our stations change.
Our materials rotate.
Our prompts grow more complex over time.
We don’t tell children what to do.
We invite their hands to figure it out.
At Tiny Town Solano, every adventure is rooted in our 4 E’s Framework: Exploration, Experimentation, Experience, and Engagement. From free play to hands-on workshops, kids learn by doing, building confidence, creativity, and connection with every visit.

Tiny Town is for children who:
Ask “why” and don’t stop there
Like to build, test, take apart, and rebuild
Want room to imagine, invent, and explore at their own pace
It’s also for parents who want more than passive entertainment and are looking for play with purpose.
Tiny Town Solano: Discovery Museum turns imagination into possibility. We believe play is powerful; sparking discovery, building confidence, and inspiring children to care for their world while developing a lifelong love of learning.
A generation of fearless dreamers who see every corner of life as a playground for possibility.
Tiny Town Solano isn’t just a place for kids, it’s a community hub built by all of us. Local businesses and community members alike can sponsor storefronts, play areas, and workshops, giving families a place to learn, play, and grow together.
Sponsorship means more than visibility—it’s belonging. It’s a chance to:
• Showcase your business or family name inside a one-of-a-kind children’s discovery center.
• Connect with local families in a meaningful, lasting way.
• Invest in Solano County’s future by supporting education, imagination, and community growth.
Whether you’re a business, a parent, or simply someone who believes in building brighter beginnings, Tiny Town Solano is your space to make a lasting mark.
